    Good quality up to date android phone.

    This is a good introduction to an android phone. Mine was actually the black one, which looks good. The screen is sharp and responsive and there aren't any delays in processing for my basic needs. I've enjoyed using the camera and GPS which certainly do seem to be very useful. The battery easily lasts a day, but will need charging each night to guarantee full use the next day. This is quite normal. Since I have no experience of similar phones I haven't had any issues with downloads, apps or the configuration of screens. Everything seems to work well for me.

    Big phone, small price

    The Huawei Ascend Y300 is a great phone for the price. It has all the specs of a pricier smart phone at half the cost. If you want this phone to be more responsive and less sluggish I suggest you unlock bootloader and root it. This phone runs much quicker and smoother without the Emotion UI its shipped with. I'm running kitkat on this phone with CyanogenMod 11. The only slight niggle I have is WiFi signal diminishes after 8meters from my router.
